Product Help
Ubiquinol is CoQ-10 but in reduced form. It is a compound which is stored within the mitochondria in the cells of our body. Mitochondria are what enable us to produce energy. Ubiquinol is found in cells throughout our body but is particularly prevalent within the heart, skeletal muscles and other tissues which may have high energy needs. As a result of humans being able to synthesise Ubiquinol it cannot be classed as a vitamin but instead is referred to as a compound. CoQ-10 can be found in many foods including beef, sardines and peanuts. Levels of CoQ-10 can drop as we get older so supplements like this can be particularly useful.
