OUR TOP 5
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is one of 13 essential vitamins which the human body requires in order to function properly. The human body does not produce vitamin C itself and therefore must obtain this vitamin through diet and/or supplements. Vitamin C is also known as ascorbic acid. Its important functions include helping wounds to heal and the protection of cells in ensuring they remain healthy. Vitamin C also helps to maintain healthy skin, blood vessels, bones and cartilage.
Vitamin C can be found in a variety of fruits and vegetables including citrus fruits like oranges and lemons in addition to broccoli, Brussel sprouts and potatoes. Adults between the ages of 19 and 46 require at least 40mg of vitamin C a day. Naturesupplies has a range of vitamin C supplements to ensure you get enough of this essential vitamin with products including vitamin C tablets, vitamin C powder and selected Multivitamin tablets. Vitamin D3
This vitamin is important for the development and maintenance of strong bones and teeth and also supports the normal function of the immune system. It is a fat-soluble vitamin which helps our bodies to absorb calcium. Vitamin D3 is known as the sunshine vitamin as it is produced by our bodies when we are exposed to natural sunlight. If you are not getting enough exposure to UV rays from the sun or obtaining sufficient quantities of vitamin D through your diet, then you could be at risk of vitamin D deficiency.
Vitamin D deficiency may lead to bone loss, heart disease, diabetes and various other infections and immune system disorders. Getting enough vitamin D is easy with Vitamin D3 capsules from Naturesupplies. These supplements are high strength and are available in 365 capsule tubs. Other supplements which might be of interest to you include our Calcium and Vitamin D3 tablets and Multivitamin capsules. See here for more info
Turmeric
Turmeric is a natural spice which has been used in cooking for thousands of years. Turmeric is not only a much-loved ingredient within the culinary world but is also a widely used supplement. It is the main active ingredient in Turmeric, Curcumin, which provides the distinctive yellow colour. Curcumin is the most significant active plant ingredient from the curcuminoid family.
Turmeric differs from many other plants which have their most valuable nutrients and minerals contained within their leaves. In contrast, it is the ingredients from the root of Turmeric which are much sought-after for cooking, supplements and other uses. You can acquire high-quality Turmeric supplements from Naturesupplies. Our Turmeric Curcumin Ginger & Black Pepper capsules are a food supplement which combine a range of natural ingredients.
